Marble-effect epoxy

Marble-effect epoxy recreates the look of veined stone — Carrara white, black, grey — directly on your concrete slab. The veining is worked by hand, then sealed under a smooth, glossy topcoat, with not a single joint.

  • RBQ licence 8005-0081-14
  • 5-year warranty
  • CNESST compliant
  • Residential, commercial, industrial

What it is

It belongs to the same family as metallic epoxy: a pigmented base coat into which contrasting pigments are worked by hand while it is still wet. The difference is the intent: instead of pearlescent shimmer, we draw veining that recalls marble, usually on a light background.

So every floor is unique. We agree with you on the background and the colour of the veins; the pattern itself is made on site.

How it is built

Like all our systems, it starts with preparation:

  • Diamond grinding with CNESST-compliant dust extraction, and crack repair
  • Moisture-barrier primer
  • Pigmented base coat in the background colour
  • Veining worked by hand
  • Smooth, glossy polyaspartic topcoat

Where it works best

In a reception area, a boutique, an office or a finished basement: anywhere you want the elegance of polished stone as one continuous surface, with no grout lines to maintain. Because the finish is smooth, we keep it for dry indoor rooms.

No photo here — yet

We do not have a photo of a marble-effect floor in our gallery yet, so the illustration above is a drawing, not a photograph. Rather than show you another floor and call it marble, we would rather talk it through at the estimate, with samples in hand.

Frequently asked questions

Is it real marble?

No: it is an epoxy coating that imitates the look of marble. There are no joints and no tiles to lay, and it cleans like any other epoxy floor.

Is it the same as the marble flake series?

No. The marble flake series keeps the granite texture of flakes. The marble effect is a smooth finish with veining worked by hand.

Can I choose the colours?

Yes: the background and the veins. The selector below shows the pigments available; we settle the combination with you at the estimate.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the area, the condition of the concrete (cracks, spalling, moisture), the finish you choose and any cove base or drains. We come out for free to measure and give you a detailed written quote, with no obligation.
