Solid-colour epoxy

Solid-colour epoxy is one full colour for a clean, industrial look. It is the easiest finish to maintain, and the usual choice for indoor parking garages, warehouses and plant rooms.

  • RBQ licence 8005-0081-14
  • 5-year warranty
  • CNESST compliant
  • Residential, commercial, industrial

How the system is built

The same foundation as the other finishes, without flakes or pearlescent pigment:

  • Diamond grinding and crack repair
  • EF-160 MVB moisture-barrier primer
  • Pigmented base coat in a full colour
  • Polyaspartic topcoat, smooth or slip-resistant

Smooth or slip-resistant

Smooth, it cleans in a single pass and suits dry rooms: mechanical rooms, laundry rooms, warehouses. Slip-resistant, it goes where water, oil or slush collect: ramps, entrances, around drains. Both can be combined in the same room.

Where it works best

In a condo or commercial indoor parking garage, where salt comes in all winter and trench drains can be coated with the same epoxy. In a warehouse, a plant or a workshop, where you want a surface that cleans fast and stands up to chemicals and impact. At home: laundry, mechanical room, storage.

The colours

White, light grey, medium grey, beige, charcoal, black, and the full range of Everflow liquid pigments in the selector below. A light colour brightens a parking garage or a warehouse; a dark one hides marks better.

Frequently asked questions

Where is solid-colour epoxy the best fit?

Indoor parking, warehouses, plant rooms, mechanical rooms, laundry rooms: anywhere you want a surface that is simple to clean.

Does it show marks easily?

A full colour shows dust more than a flake finish does. A mid tone such as grey is the best compromise; for a residential garage, flakes are more forgiving.

My slab has cracks. Is that a problem?

That is the norm, not the exception. Cracks are opened up and filled with epoxy or polyurea before anything is applied. If a crack points to a structural problem, we tell you at the estimate, before any work starts.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the area, the condition of the concrete (cracks, spalling, moisture), the finish you choose and any cove base or drains. We come out for free to measure and give you a detailed written quote, with no obligation.
