Garage epoxy flooring in Montreal
Garage epoxy flooring in Montreal has to take slush, road salt and oil drips for a good part of the year. We grind the slab, repair the cracks and apply a multi-layer flake system that stands up to all of it — and most garages are done in about a week.

- 5-year warranty
- CNESST compliant

Why not a hardware-store epoxy paint?
Paint from a can goes on concrete that has only been washed. Without mechanical preparation it has nothing to grip: moisture comes up through the slab, salt and tires do the rest, and it eventually peels.
Our system starts with diamond grinding, which opens the concrete so the primer can soak in. Then come a moisture-barrier primer, a pigmented base coat, vinyl flakes broadcast to full coverage and a polyaspartic topcoat that resists UV and abrasion. It is a floor, not a coat of paint.
What a garage epoxy floor includes
Every layer has a job, and none of them is optional:
- Diamond grinding of the whole surface, with CNESST-compliant dust extraction — very little dust in the house
- Crack and spall repair with epoxy or polyurea
- EF-160 MVB moisture-barrier primer at 18 mils against slab moisture
- Pigmented epoxy base coat at 18 mils
- Vinyl flakes broadcast to full coverage — 32 blends to choose from
- EF-290 polyaspartic topcoat at 10–12 mils
- A custom 4-inch cove base and, where needed, a stainless-steel drain cover
Slip-resistant: why we recommend flakes
Flakes hide dust, tire marks and the small flaws in a slab. Their texture also makes the floor slip-resistant — which matters in winter, when snow melts off the car and the floor gets wet several times a day.
You choose from 32 Everflow blends in four series: standard, stone/terrazzo, marble and quartz. The selector below shows them large; add the one you like to your estimate request. If you would rather have a solid colour or a metallic effect, the other finishes work in a garage too.
Cove base: the detail that makes the difference
At the bottom of the walls, where the floor meets the foundation, water and calcium collect. A custom 4-inch cove base carries the coating up the wall in a curve: there is no longer a joint for water to get into, and the corner cleans with one pass of a mop. We do the same around columns and steps.
Who it’s for
Homeowners who want a clean, bright garage that is easy to look after — whether it holds the car, a workshop or storage. For commercial garages and mechanics’ shops, the system is the same at a larger scale; see our commercial and industrial page.
How long does it take?
Most garages are done in about a week. The exact schedule, and when you can park in it again, are confirmed at the estimate, because they depend on the condition of the slab and the temperature. During the work, we plan with you where the car and whatever is stored in the garage will go.
What our clients say
Nicholas and the guys did our garage floor last month and it honestly looks better than the rest of the house. Super clean job, barely any dust left behind, and the flake finish hides everything.
My husband wanted an epoxy garage floor for years, and I finally surprised him with it. Nicholas and his crew managed to get it done while he was out of town. The reaction was priceless!

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
The price depends on the area, the condition of the concrete (cracks, spalling, moisture), the finish you choose and any cove base or drains. We come out for free to measure and give you a detailed written quote, with no obligation.
Does it stand up to de-icing salt and oil?
Yes. The system resists chemicals, road salt and impact. The polyaspartic topcoat protects the base coat against abrasion and UV, and a sealed surface cleans up with a mop.
My slab has cracks. Is that a problem?
That is the norm, not the exception. Cracks are opened up and filled with epoxy or polyurea before anything is applied. If a crack points to a structural problem, we tell you at the estimate, before any work starts.
Will the floor be slippery when wet?
The flake finish has a texture that makes it slip-resistant. That is exactly why it is the finish we recommend for a garage.
My garage slab is badly damaged. Does it need to be redone?
In most cases a repair is enough before the epoxy goes down. If the slab has sunk, broken into pieces or deteriorated too far, we can replace it: saw cutting, removal, excavation and a new pour. We tell you which option applies at the estimate.
Is the work guaranteed?
Yes — a 5-year warranty. Le Groupe Exclusif holds RBQ licence 8005-0081-14 and works with CNESST-compliant dust extraction.
